3 Months Precious – Newborn and Family Portraits in Broomfield, Colorady by Natascha Lee Studios

This precious 3 month old baby is so photogenic.

I’m so excited that fall is coming here in Broomfield,  Colorado and the trees are sporting their yellow, orange and reds.

This is my favorite time, since they still have all their leaves, albeit in fabulous fall colors.

I’m so excited about all the fall portrait sessions that I get to do next month!

Great Resource on What To Wear | Broomfield, Colorado Baby and Family Portraits by Natascha Lee Studios

When the weather is flirting with rain and the sky is turning gray, like it is right now in Broomfield, I crave bright colors.

Heck, as you can tell from my baby, child and family photography, I love bright colors regardless of the season or weather.

Along those same lines, I just love this color guide for portrait clothes from Lina Jarmond. (Thanks to Lina for letting me re-post it here.)

I am almost all booked for my fall sessions , and one of the first questions  people ask is, “What should I wear?”

See the nifty image below for ideas (each color palette has a Mommy, Daddy and Kiddos suggestions), and/or check out page 26 in my Summer Studio Magazine.

Fall, Winter and Spring Session Videos | Broomfield, Colorado Baby, Children and Family Portraits

fun, fresh and fabulous outdoor portraits for newborns, infants, children, and families, I find that hot days mean we need to start even earlier or shoot later. Speaking of later, did you see the amazing sunset in Broomfield tonight? The wind kicked up dust into the air and that’s what gave us such magnificent colors. I captured many photos of the stunning sky. If you haven’t checked out my session videos, click here to see them all.

I just added the Spring Video. Yes, I’m that far behind in posting sessions. And now it’s the middle of Summer. Perhaps I’ll have the Summer Video up in time for Fall. 😉  ]]>

Sweet Baby Sleeping | Broomfield Newborn Photography by Natascha Lee Studios

Such a beautiful day in Broomfield today. We checked out a couple local parks, made ice cream, and cooled off in the pool. A perfect Broomfield Summer Day!

Below is the sweetest sleeping newborn. I took some amazing photos of this precious little one and this is one of my favorites.

It’s also one of his parents favorites, as it is one of the ones they ordered at their viewing session two weeks ago. We call this one the “kitten.”

Then I got to see this precious baby boy again last week; he is now six weeks old

(Yes, for those doing the math, that means I got to see him 3 times in six weeks! I love my job and I’m soo soo lucky!)

Watermelon, Tricycle, and a Lovely Park: Children's Creative Concept Photography Session by Broomfield Family Photographer Natascha Lee Studios

This Broomfield children’s photography session was SO MUCH FUN! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these kid’s expressions!

The idea was to tell a story; Boy rides up on his “wheels” (tricycle), shares some stories, laughs and watermelon with girl, and then they ride off together. I actually shot this twice, the first time is below and the second time was for July 4th and those images will be posted next week.

Creative concept shoots are generally portraits that tell a story, and they usually use more props that more “regular” portrait photography.

That said, I lean towards simple props, ones that just help the portraits rather than overtake them.

I want the kids, their interactions, expressions and connection to be the focus of my photographic art. Because as mothers, that’s what we most cherish and want to remember forever. Enjoy!

PS – I’m even entering these images in a photography contest of sorts. Wish me luck!
