Young Beauty | Spring Flower Session: Broomfield Colorado Family Photography by Natascha Lee Studios

Oh Miss  S and her mother are going to be SO excited to see these beautiful images.

Miss S is a lovely 10 year old. She’s smart and funny and loves books and horses.

We had so much fun at our session. She made me laugh again and again.

Pre-teen is another of my favorite ages to shoot. They are still your little girl (or boy), but you see glimpses of the person they are becoming!

You can see that metamorphosis in images below; she looks like a child in one image, and then like a young adult in the next.

Spring Flower Sessions,  which celebrate our natural outdoor Colorado beauty, are only available for a few more weeks.

They are especially beautiful for babies (see post coming tomorrow) and young girls.

Contact me if you would like to book one!

7 months of sweetness | Westminster, Colorado Baby Photography by Natascha Lee Studios

This adorable little baby is 7 months old, and I’m so glad we got this image before the crawling started.

I’m getting lots of calls about maternity photos. Which I love to do!

As mentioned in my new Studio Magazine, the best time to book your maternity session is during your 7th month, between 28 – 32 weeks.

I’m also doing a slew of baby photography sessions for new parents from Morrison to Denver to Broomfield.

So excited to meet these new bundles of joy!

Pretty as a Picture | Westminster, Colorado Children's Photography by Natascha Lee Studios

Miss S is pretty as a picture, and so fun to photograph. I’ll post more of this session another day.

For  today, I just know that her Momma can’t wait to see at least one of the LOVELY photos we got.

Especially because the day AFTER her photo shoot, Miss S lost a tooth and also got a big bruise on her forehead.

Like Mother, Like Daughter | Westminster, Colorado Family Photography by Natascha Lee Studios

Oh my, this little girl is lucky to have such a beautiful, smart momma!

Oh my, this momma is lucky to have such a pretty, sweet little girl.

They are so lucky to have each other!

Little Miss K kept telling me she was four years old, even though she is three.

She bravely put up with the cold and flashed me some lovely smiles.

Pick Just 5 : About the Artist at Natascha Lee Studios

5 Fun, Well-Known Facts About Me:

  • I live halfway between Boulder and Denver, with my wonderful husband and amazing kids who bring me more joy than I ever thought possible.
  • I love to give back and donate, and one of my favorite ways is microfinance through www.kiva.org
  • I love soccer, yoga, dance, travel, and the ocean. My husband insists that “electronic gadgets” should be included in that list.
  • English is not my first language. I am fluent in my third and fourth languages, mediocre in my second language and have completely forgotten my first.  (My father was an inventor and we lived all over the world through much of my childhood.)
  • As an artist/photographer, I adore that moment when people see a piece of art that they connect with, be it pottery, painting or photography.
Here’s a photo that combines several of my loves: Traveling through Egypt, we stopped at a small cafe. The tables and chairs were rickety and old, the walls were peeling, and the air redolent with foreign perfumes and tobacco. And above us was this stunning light fixure.
