Happy Father's Day – from Natascha Lee Studios
Happy Father’s Day!
]]>Happy Father’s Day!
]]>Yay! Spring in Westminster and Broomfield: tuplips and daffodils are up! Trees are budding out. The sun hangs around a little longer each day. Brightly colored patio furniture in all the stores. Lettuce are snap peas are planted. And our Spring Flower Sessions (great idea for family portraits) are under way. I love meeting new portrait client families as well as seeing clients come back year after year for annual family portraits.
What a happy day!
Speaking of happy day, it was made even better by this lovely testimonial from a recent newborn portrait client. Can you even believe how beautiful, lovely and handsome their newborn girl/boy twins are?
“My husband and I were thrilled to bring our tiny twins to have Natascha do our newborn photos. We had given her a few ideas /preferences but were most pleased with how she just let her creativity flow! She captured the personality of our two little ones so perfectly and I am forever grateful for the memories and beautiful pieces of art I will always have to look back on. She also really knew how to work with new mommies and daddies and had the needed patience to get great pics of newborns with their own agendas!! Thanks a million Natascha!” -Nicole and Corey, Westminster, Colorado]]>
While the snow piles high in Westminster, Broomfield and the rest of Boulder County, it’s a perfect time to catch up on posting some wonderful family portraits from the end of last year.
Usually I prefer vibrant, colorful photography for children’s portraits, but I just love high-key Classic Black and White for newborn family portraits.
]]>in writing how much your portraits mean to them. And if you want to make them super happy, tell them more than once. Here is a recent string of messages from a wonderful client. Absolutely made my day…three times!!!! Here is the first one she sent, after the session:
I was so pleased with the photo session this morning. You certainly have a way with newborns and their families. I can not wait to see the photos, I know you got some good ones. Thank you again for working with our short notice. Caroline RekoffA few days later, after I posted the sneak peak. She is referring to seeing the entire gallery: (This is my favorite!)
I can’t wait to see the rest, I have gotten so much joy out of the sneak preview, I hope my heart can stand all your glorious work at once. Caroline RekoffAnd once she saw her final gallery:
They are marvelous photos, job well done. I love your work. Caroline Rekoff
Oh Caroline, thank you so much for your wonderful words. So many people don’t take the time to share their kind words with others! Thank YOU for sharing.
]]>Sneak peek from a recent newborn session. Grandma called me from Golden, Colorado, looking for “artistic Black and White Portraits” for her son, daughter-in-law and her brand-new very first grandchild. I was thrilled to oblige as I love crafting heirloom portraits for new families. And all that newborn baby goodness!
It was kismet; Grandma called me the day before this session as she was just about to leave town; I’ve never booked a portrait session just 24 hours in advance, but our scheduled matched up (despite this being the start of a super busy season for professional photographers), and I just love the images we got. Baby S was so handsome, despite a definite aversion to falling asleep.
Even more special: black and white portraits are a family tradition, with Baby S being the fourth! 4th! generation to be photographed in black and white.
As you can see below, he is lucky to inherit some very good-looking genes from Mommy and Daddy.
Golden, Colorado Newborn Baby and Family Photography in Black and White
]]>Just realized that I never did blog this lovely infant portrait of this precious baby boy from Golden, Colorado. I just love doing newborn photography sessions, and have done a slew of them recently.
I even have a twin photography and a triplet!!! portrait session coming up soon. Bring on the baby photography for multiples!
Joyful, Vibrant and Fun!
I also used one of this sweet little Golden, Colorado baby’s portraits ( a different newborn pose – one with Daddy’s baseball) in Studio Magazine Volume 3, which just came out a few weeks ago.
