Here are some sneak peeks from a recent Ballet Art Shoot in Broomfield.

Some of the girls were “real” ballet dancers, others just loved to dance, and all of them loved to play dress up and model for the day.

Thanks to Colorado Conservatory of Dance for letting me use their lovely space. They have a wonderful dance program serving the Broomfield, Colorado community and beyond – and they truly believe that “Dance is for Everyone.”

I would also like to thank some of the wonderful & talented folks who supplied clothing for the shoot including the parents themselves, Tutu Du Monde, and Etsy Artists  Jill of JillyBeanTutus,  Deepado, and Candice of TrendiBambini.

At the risk of sounding all acadamy-awardy, I also want to give a shout-out to my amazing assistants Michelle, Brittany and Jennifer.

Wow! Temps in Broomfield are crazy high. Good thing I already hold almost all my Broomfield Family Photography sessions early morning or in the evening.

Plus we have lots of lovely outdoor (and indoor) swimming pools in Broomfield and Westminster to cool off in!

For those who love Carnivals, the Orchard Town Center in Broomfield, Colorado (near 144th & Zuni) has one each year.

It’s a fun backdrop for family portraiture, or even “just the kids.” And it’s a GREAT backdrop for senior pix.

I’m so excited about this lovely weather we are having in Colorado. Broomfield has been sunny and hot and wonderful!

I’m sure/I hope we get at least one more snowstorm, though.

This is a quick post about two new newborn props I’m super excited about. Hungry Caterpillar and Sock Monkey!

These are what they look like while they are patiently waiting for adorable newborns to come wear them!

I think they look at little…lonley, don’t you?

I have about 50 different newborn props, and parents love looking through them all, to select their favorite.

I hope one of my wonderful parents will select them soon. 😉
