]]>Happy 4th of July Everyone! Enjoy this fun US Flag, Patriotic Portrait Series I created featuring adorable local Denver child models. Happy Independence Day 2015!
]]>Denver and Boulder are some of the greatest places for yoga! If you haven’t checked out Yoga Rocks the Park, (or “Yoga Rocks the Park Denver” as it is properly called) give it a try! It’s a blast – everyone meets @ Sunken Gardens park in Denver, you bring your yoga mat and you get to do yoga outdoor, on a Sunday morning, with hundreds of other people. A couple of tips: get there early to pick a good spot (shade if you like that, near the live musicians if you like that, near the back if that’s your thing, etc.) It’ll also give a a chance to check out the vendors that have booths there.
In past years, there was one or two free sessions. This year, many of the session are free, including the upcoming one on June 28th, 9am, courstey of Mudra Yoga. Click here to register (This link won’t work once the dates have passed.)
And, once the Summer is over, all this yoga goodness goes indoor, and you can check out “Friday Night Yoga.”
I’ve got Denver yoga on my mind today because of the sweetest message I got from a yogini who recently did a custom yoga photo shoot with me:
I absolutely loved my photo shoot with Natascha Lee! She really made me feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. We had such a fun time doing this yoga shoot. She is so full of energy and gives great direction! She is extremely talented and her work is beautiful. I’ve really enjoyed viewing and showing off the pictures!
Thank you thank you! –Crystal
Here a link to another of Crystal’s other images, and below are two of my favorites from her yoga shoot: this lovely headshot and one of her in Lord of the Dance Pose (Natarajasana). I love how they capture both her fun-loving and intense/reflective sides.
]]>portraits until your child is two, and then annual until five years old. They will change so much every few months and high quality custom portraits are one of the very best ways to celebrate your child’s unique personality! One of the things that girl’s mother and aunt said again and again (during our viewing session of their images), “I love these! You absolutely captured her personality!”

]]>Oh my, I just loved opening my email and seeing this note from Michelle. Michelle, you totally made my day!
“Natascha is amazing. I do not feel comfortable in front of a camera but she made the experience so much fun. She is very professional with an amazing personality that allowed me to relax and actually enjoy myself. The photos are fantastic and I am excited to share them! Thank you Natascha!

Here’s one of my favorite images from Michelle’s shoot. I love the relaxed energy of this yogini!
]]>I love doing yoga photography! Here are a couple of Michelle in scorpion pose, and Crystal in Bridge Pose. How fabulous is Crystal’s smile? She had so much fun! (So did Michelle, this is just one of her more concentrated times.)
