Combo Denver Senior and Model Rooftop Shoot

Combo Denver Senior and Model Rooftop Shoot

Denver Models and Seniors Rooftop Photoshoot

It’s January 2018 and I’m back in the studio. Excited to share these great portraits done just before the break. Lila is a Denver model and also a local highschool senior. She is super athletic, sweet, smart and a very strong young woman. Her mom, a yoga instructor and mega-volunteer, has the best, best wardrobe and some of the super cool clothes from this shoot were from her mom.
She wanted a combo model and senior shoot – so we did that @ my amazing Denver Urban Photo Studio, including doing one of her outfits on the rooftop!

Denver Model Shoot in Downtown Denver

Denver Model Shoot in Downtown Denver

Denver model shoot, taken at the Art, a hotel (yes, that’s really the hotel’s name): Denver Model Headshot Portfolio Images - Downtown Denver, Art Hotel This gal is so pretty, and she’s great at posing. She comes up with so many different looks and movements, very quickly and easily.  Her  boyfriend is also a model, and he was part of our shoot. I’ll be posting photos with him soon. And our setting – The Art, a hotel is simply beautiful. Original art, super cool decor. And the rooms are just as cool as the rest of the place. Oh, and get this – the water, the snacks and the drinks in the mini fridge are all included, for free. I love that. Talk about hospitality. If you have guests who want to stay downtown at an interesting, unique hotel – I recommend you check them out. BTW, did you know that I offer “model sessions” birthday packages for preteen and teen girls who want to have a special birthday experience that they, and their friends will never forget? (Oh boy, that was a very long sentence,e wasn’t it? ) We meet at my super cool Denver studio, and then all the girls get to wear fun clothes that THEY pick out! Denver Model Shoot – Behind the Scenes

Denver Model Shoot – Behind the Scenes

And here is what the final image looks like:

Sometimes, we walk past the most beautiful lighting just because it’s in the dark hallway, or it’s tucked back into a corner.  The light from that window, combined with the contrast of the big, heavy metal door behind, makes for a lovely image. Oh, yea, and the beautiful young Denver model and her pretty smile…that’s a big part of it, too. 😉

Denver Family Photography – New "Explainer" Video (TBT)

Natascha Lee Studios 2016 Explainer Video from N Lee on Vimeo.

If you are looking for family portraits, that video gives you a super quick overview of me, the kind of photos I create, and my style. Below are a few more key links that people like to have, when they are looking for a Denver family photographer and considering working with me. Feel free to check them out. And, if you aren’t in the area looking for a Denver family photographer, ask your local photographer if they have similar links available for you to check out. In addition to pricing and their gallery, be sure to see a video or a sample of a full session – I always recommend seeing an entire session by your photographer. Because anyone can take one or two good photos, but you want a photographer that will deliver and entire gallery of great images for you to select from. Not all photographers have a studio, but if they do have one, you’ll want to ask where it is and what it is like. Their studio is a great meeting place, you can see their product samples and it also provides a back up shooting location if your outdoor location gets rained/snowed out. (Although it can be very fun to shoot in the rain and snow! 1. What people say about working with me 2. My photo galleries, (one for each of my specialties so you can see my photography style) 3. May the 4th Be With You (What a difference a year makes)

May the 4th Be With You (What a difference a year makes)

missing my “May the 4th” pal this year. We seem to have viewing sessions around May 4th each year.
But just had to share what a difference a year makes. Here is her lovely Denver child model daughter, Presley in her tutus! We love tutus!
These photos were taking almost exactly a year apart. PS – For our last “1 year apart” image, click here.
Denver Child Model with Tutu 1 year apart
I highly recommend annual photo sessions WITH your kids. It’s so fun to see how they grow from year to year.
As I tell all my client, friends, family (anyone who will listen, really) – investing in quality family portraits is one of the best choices you can make this year.
Long after the spontaneous Target or Costco shopping spree is spent (been there, done that), or the stylish purse, the on-trend shoes, the expertly applied streaky hair highlights (or purple hair tips) are gone, long after the fancy meals are eaten, the fine wine is drunk and forgotten, long after the pretty new couch looks worn and old – these images are what will last forever and bring you joy several generations.
