How to make your photographer's day: Natascha Lee Studios

in writing how much your portraits mean to them. And if you want to make them super happy, tell them more than once. Here is a recent string of messages from a wonderful client. Absolutely made my day…three times!!!! Here is the first one she sent, after the session:

I was so pleased with the photo session this morning.  You certainly have a way with newborns and their families.  I can not wait to see the photos, I know you got some good ones.  Thank you again for working with our short notice. Caroline Rekoff
A few days later, after I posted the sneak peak. She is referring to seeing the entire gallery: (This is my favorite!)
I can’t wait to see the rest, I have gotten so much joy out of the sneak preview, I hope my heart can stand all your glorious work at once. Caroline Rekoff
And once she saw her final gallery:
They are marvelous photos, job well done. I love  your work. Caroline Rekoff

Oh Caroline, thank you so much for your wonderful words.  So many people don’t take the time to share their kind words with others! Thank YOU for sharing.

Golden, Colorado: Artistic Black and White Newborn and Family Portraits | Photography By Natascha Lee Studios

Sneak peek from a recent newborn session. Grandma called me from Golden, Colorado, looking for “artistic Black and White Portraits” for her son, daughter-in-law and her brand-new very first grandchild. I was thrilled to oblige as I love crafting heirloom portraits for new families. And all that newborn baby goodness!

It was kismet; Grandma called me the day before this session as she was just about  to leave town; I’ve never booked a portrait session just 24 hours in advance, but our scheduled matched up (despite this  being the start of a super busy season for professional photographers), and I just love the images we got. Baby S was so handsome, despite a definite aversion to falling asleep.

Even more special: black and white portraits are a family tradition, with Baby S being the fourth! 4th! generation to be photographed in black and white.

As you can see below, he is lucky to inherit some very good-looking genes from Mommy and Daddy.

A Lovely Client Testimonial from Local Artist Amy Z of ZaneyBaby | Custom Outdoor Family Photography by Westminster, Colorado Natascha Lee Studios

Client testimonials rock my world! Here’s a lovely one from one of my Fabulous Fall in Colorado portrait sessions:

Natascha is a great photographer to work with! I have been fortunate enough to partner with her for product shots for my business, as well as family photos. She is wonderful with children and can get my usually challenging toddler to smile and engage with her! Thank you Natascha for all of your hard work and wonderful photographs! -Amy Z.

By the way, Amy is a fabulous crochet artist with wonderful items for sale on Etsy. I am lucky enough to have an extensive selection of her her lovely props and use at least one of them in each of my my newborn sessions.

Below is one of my favorite images from their Fabulous Fall Portrait Session held in Westminster, Colorado – just look at the sunlight filtering through the changing Aspen and Cottonwood leaves..

I esp.  love the look on their little boy as he gazes down at Mommy and Daddy kissing!

More Daddy Love : Sneak Peak of Father and Son Family Portrait in Broomfield, Colorado, Family Photography by Natascha Lee Studios

I just love photographing fathers playing with their kiddos.

Here is a quick sneak peek at a recent family session I did in Westminster/Broomfield, Colorado.

Can you believe the yellow leaves are still out in November? Amazing.

This little boy was one of my toughest, with very few smiles for Josephine*  that day. But here is his happiness on full display, while playing with Daddy.

I’ll post a few more pix from this session later, but for now I just knew that Mamma is excited to see at least one.

And, Mamma runs a super cool company on etsy that I’ll tell you about next time I post.
