Denver Family Photography – New "Explainer" Video (TBT)

If you are looking for family portraits, that video gives you a super quick overview of me, the kind of photos I create, and my style. Below are a few more key links that people like to have, when they are looking for a Denver family photographer and considering working with me. Feel free to check them out. And, if you aren’t in the area looking for a Denver family photographer, ask your local photographer if they have similar links available for you to check out. In addition to pricing and their gallery, be sure to see a video or a sample of a full session – I always recommend seeing an entire session by your photographer. Because anyone can take one or two good photos, but you want a photographer that will deliver and entire gallery of great images for you to select from. Not all photographers have a studio, but if they do have one, you’ll want to ask where it is and what it is like. Their studio is a great meeting place, you can see their product samples and it also provides a back up shooting location if your outdoor location gets rained/snowed out. (Although it can be very fun to shoot in the rain and snow! 1. What people say about working with me 2. My photo galleries, (one for each of my specialties so you can see my photography style) 3. Videos to see what an entire session would look like  4. Pricing Overview 5. A bit about me 6. My N Denver Studio Tour Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save]]>

Family Portraits on a Boulder Mountain – Outdoor Colorado Family Photography

Here’s a video of a recent Family Photography Portrait Session, taken in the beautiful Colorado mountains above Boulder and including their sweet family dog.

As you may know, it’s important to view a photographer’s work end-to-end (such as a full family session, or a full wedding) to get a good feel for what their work is like and what you can expect from your photo session. It’s the best way to know how the session will flow, what type of images the photographer will create. Anybody can take one or two good photos, but you want to understand how consistently their work for all clients matches the level of the few favorite images they post on their website. If you would like to see more full-session family portrait videos, visit my video page here.

One thing you’ll notice is that most of my family sessions include photos of the kids individually, with each other, with parents, parents alone, just the parents, etc. I like to provide a variety of combos so that we can create a lovely album or wall collage for your home and so we honor each of the individual relationships in your family.

Family Portraits on a Boulder Mountain – Outdoor Summer Portraits

A super fun client (with the most photogenic family!) came by to pick up his order. We had already done their viewing session, and he and his family saw their amazing family portraits on my big screen TV….but he hadn’t seen them printed yet. In addition to large canvas prints for their home, they also ordered the full digital package which comes with reference prints for each image. Here he laid them all out on my coffeetable to see them at once. There is nothing like seeing your images in print! BTW, he said the cutest thing when he showed up to pick up his order “I feel like a kid on Christmas morning.” I LOVE that I get to create something for people that makes them feel that way…..

Boulder Mountain Family Photography – Outdoor Summer Portraits

I often shoot in locations that have special significance to my clients. I recently took portraits for this lovely family below. They are outdoorsy, active and hikers – so they wanted to incorporate the beauty of Boulder’s Mountains into their portraits.

Didn’t the mom do a great job with the clothing? I love how she selected light Summer colors, and pulled it all together with her youngest daughter’s dress, and her own scarf.
