Happy Father’s Day!
As my clients know, I’m a huge proponent of going beyond just photos of kiddos alone; I value capturing images of children with their parents, as an entire family and also individually with each parent.
When parents are hesitant to be included in the shoot, I tell them, “The photos of your children alone will be cherished for your lifetime, the photos of you with your children with be cherished for their lifetime, also.”
In honor of Father’s Day, and all the wonderful fathers I meet/know/photograph, here’s two of my favorite Daddy images:
Newborn twin fine portraiture in black and white – Westminster, Colorado
Father and son photography – Littleton, Colorado
Happy Mother’s Day!
Since I’m spending the day with my children rather than on the computer (but NOT gardening, thank you 4″ of Denver snow), I’m sharing my blog post from a previous Mother’s Day.
The kiddos are already climbing all over me, asking me to go build snowmen in the backyard. With “Real Carrots!”
Q: “What did one snowman say to the other?”
A; “Do you smell carrots?”
Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful Mammas out there!
Broomfield Baby and Family Photography
Another of my favorite black and white children’s portraits; I love those soulful eyes.
Westminster Children’s Fine Portraiture
Have you ever considered having your fine family portraits made into a non-traditional size wall canvas? Here’s an example.
The tall, thin nature of the sizing really helps you focus on the most important aspect – the tender love between Mamma and baby.
Boulder Newborn Baby Portraits
A few days go I posted my new “about me” page, with a wonderful portrait taken of my by Kellie Coughlin. Today, I’m returning the favor and posting my one of my favorite portraits of her.
She’s so beautiful, inside and out!
